Treasurer report presented. Total Equity for 2008 $4921.01 Total Revenue 9862.32, Total Liability 7339.07, Net income 2523.25. Notes on expenditures: Session Fees Income 4997.35, Grid rental Income 282 and show fees 490. We received a grant from the Arts Foundation for 2000. Our largest expense is model fees at 2257, and rental was close behind at 2181.50 with storage at 523.20.

President's Report: We had a very successful year. We incorporated new ideas for sessions, such as going to Ballet Kelowna (under Rebekah Wilkinson's leadership), and drawing in Quail's Gate vineyard. New printed material was created to advertise our group, and our website has been updated. The Studio Atelier application is a go, so if a studio space becomes available and we are accepted, it could save us some money in rent. We welcomed four new models, and lost one. Artwalk exposure was terrific, and our community participation was of very high standard. The storage facility was contracted for our grids, and there are other groups using them! Thank you for this year of very exciting activity! I hope more members will become involved in 2009.

Exhibitions Chair Report - Ralf Rohrlack: Artwalk was successful, and because of the increase of the number of artists overall at Artwalk, we need a focused strategy in order to maximize our space. Participants in our display need to volunteer in some way, to help out during Artwalk, such as doing labels or taking a shift during the weekend. Currently it is on the shoulders of only a few, and we have such a rich community within our group we need to maximize that.

Holiday Art Show: because of the poor turnout for the show, it was decided to hold the Holiday Art Show in conjunction with the Homes for the Holidays Art Exhibition being run by Bonnie Anderson. Ralf will talk to Bonnie for 2009.

Sessions Chair Report: Going very well, average attendance 8-10, up from 2007/8. Four new models, Heather Sandra Jessie and Jennie, Blake has left, but is still interested in sessions that would occur at around 4 or 430. Drawing in the Vineyard was very successful, and have this set up once again for Summer 09 (dates are July 4, 18 and Aug 8, 8 am to 1030 am, please see the calendar). There was some discussion about having a small art show at Quail's Gate at the end of the summer (two or so weeks before Artwalk), is anyone interested in this? Please contact Ralf, Exhibitions. Tuesday is free all day at the RCA Painting and Drawing room, so come and do artwork. Please use the online calendar for dates and events and deadlines, it is very accurate.

Ballet Kelowna sessions: usually first Tuesday of the month, meet at the Leckie Road studio, Rebekah is the contact. Possibility of a show with Ballet Kelowna next year, more tba.

Public drawing sessions: Evergreen was very successful, we are asked back again this year 2009. This time we can sell what we do that evening, with 50% commission going to RCA.
Life and Arts was very successful, and the name has changed to Music and Arts. It is held in July. We have been asked back, and they are paying our group a stipend to "perform". No cost for this session, dates are July 25 and 26 (Sat and Sun) members, please get your name on the list by July 4 if you want to attend.

Studio Application: received eight of ten cheques, one person will pay cash, will know in June or July if studio is available.

Communications: send Julia two large images for use on the website, for brochures or other printed material. Julia has received from Tina, and Rebekah. Please send by May 15th. If you need pics taken, then let her know.

Workshops: We held two workshops throughout 2008/9: printmaking with Trina Ganson, and mixed media with Christina Leinemann Knittel. Both were very successful. If you are interested in another series of these please let our workshop coordinator know (Pat Higgins).
